In accordance with the provisions of the Law of Ukraine “On Protection of Rights to Plant Varieties”, consideration of applications for registration of plant varieties, conducting qualification examinations, as well as state registration of the variety are carried out subject to payment of the relevant official fees.

Payment of official fees for actions related to the protection of rights to plant varieties in Ukraine can be made in two ways:

– payment directly by the applicant company from its Baku account;

– payment through a representative in Ukraine.

The amounts of official fees are determined by the Procedure for payment of fees for actions related to the protection of rights to plant varieties, approved by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated August 19, 2002 No. 1183 with changes approved by Resolution of the CMU dated August 4, 2023 No. 813.

Payment of official fees is made to the account of the Ukrainian Institute of Plant Varieties Examination.
